LG Manoj Sinha Lays Foundation Stone for 180-Bed Super Speciality Meerz Health Care Hospital in Srinagar
SRINAGAR, JANUARY 19: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha officially laid the foundation stone for the Meerz Health Care Hospital in Srinagar today, marking a significant expansion of the region’s medical landscape. The upcoming 180-bedded super speciality facility is designed to strengthen medical infrastructure and enhance specialized healthcare services for residents of Srinagar and its neighboring districts.
During the ceremony, the Lieutenant Governor emphasized that private investment in health infrastructure serves as the cornerstone of sustainable national progress and a vital lifeline for society. He further noted that healthcare remains the bedrock for building a stable, vibrant, and prosperous community, urging industry leaders to prioritize world-class infrastructure to foster social resilience.
The event was attended by high-ranking officials and dignitaries, including Managing Director of Meerz Group Farooq Mir, J&K Waqf Board Chairperson Darakhshan Andrabi, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg, SSP Srinagar GV Sundeep Chakravarthy, and Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Akshay Labroo, alongside various medical professionals and prominent citizens.
