HARIDWAR, FEBRUARY 05: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attended the idol installation ceremony of Swami Satyamitranand Giri Ji Maharaj today in the sacred city of Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
Speaking at the Sadguru Memorial Celebration held under the guidance of Swami Avdheshanand Giri Ji Maharaj, the Lieutenant Governor emphasized that India is currently undergoing a profound economic, cultural, and spiritual renaissance.
He noted that this transformation is igniting a vibrant new consciousness across society, guiding the nation toward a modern and transformed era. Sinha remarked that with the blessings of revered saints, the country is steadfastly advancing toward its vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047, reclaiming its ancient glory and rightful position on the global stage.
Highlighting India’s growing influence, the Lieutenant Governor stated that the world is increasingly embracing the ancient Indian philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the world is one family—as a beacon for global peace and harmony. Sinha pointed out that India’s soft power, particularly through yoga and meditation, has now become a staple in households worldwide. He credited recent national initiatives, including the development of archaeological sites and the digital archiving of spiritual landmarks, with fostering a sense of cultural pride in the youth and weaving a stronger tapestry of national unity.
