LG Manoj Sinha Flags Off South Kashmir Youth for 10-Day Cultural Exposure Tour

JAMMU, Jan 4, 2026: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today flagged off a 25-member delegation of youth from various districts of South Kashmir for a 10-day comprehensive educational and cultural exchange tour.

Interacting with the participants before their departure, the Lieutenant Governor extended his best wishes, emphasizing the role of such initiatives in broadening horizons and fostering communal harmony.

The group, consisting of students and emerging youth leaders, is scheduled to visit several key regions, including Chandigarh, Haryana, and Shimla, to engage with diverse communities and witness the region’s developmental landmarks firsthand.Coordinated by the NGO “Prosperous, Accountable and Transparent J&K” in collaboration with the Haryana Media Association and the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Jammu, the tour is designed under the spirit of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.”

The primary objective is to promote national integration by providing the youth with experiential learning opportunities and exposure to India’s rich cultural heritage. By facilitating these interactions outside the valley, the program aims to strengthen the bond between different states and inspire the youth to contribute to the nation’s rapid developmental progress through a unified perspective.
