LG, CM, and Deputy CM Extend Heartfelt Ram Navami Greetings to Jammu and Kashmir

JAMMU/SRINAGAR | March 25, 2026:- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, and Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary have extended their warmest greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the eve of the auspicious festival of Ram Navami.

In a series of messages, the leaders highlighted the profound religious and cultural significance of the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram, describing him as the ultimate embodiment of righteousness, virtue, and exemplary conduct.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha noted that the life of “Maryada Purushottam” serves as a timeless testament to compassion, humility, and an unwavering commitment to truth, urging citizens to integrate these values into their daily lives to serve humanity selflessly.

He expressed his hope that the divine blessings of Lord Ram would fill every home in the Union Territory with enduring peace, joy, and abundant prosperity.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, in his message from Srinagar, emphasized that the teachings of Lord Ram act as a guiding light, encouraging people to walk the path of integrity and selfless service.

He remarked that Ram Navami transcends religious boundaries, offering a collective opportunity to reaffirm a shared commitment to the service of others with sincerity and dedication.

Similarly, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary highlighted the festival’s role in strengthening the spirit of love, harmony, and brotherhood across the diverse social fabric of Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed optimism that the sacred occasion would usher in a new era of well-being and progress for all residents of the region.

The festive spirit was further echoed by cabinet members Satish Sharma and Sakeena Itoo. Minister for Food, Civil Supplies, and IT, Satish Sharma, noted that the ideals of “Ram Rajya” remain the gold standard for good governance, equality, and social welfare in the modern era. He called on citizens to celebrate with devotion and simplicity while extending a helping hand to the underprivileged.

Minister for Health and Education, Sakeena Itoo, also extended her felicitations, stating that such sacred occasions reinforce the mutual respect and cultural unity that define Jammu and Kashmir.
