LAHD-SSRB Launches 3-Day Document Verification Drive for Leh Recruitment 2025

LEH, LADAKH – The Leh Autonomous Hill Development Subordinate Services Recruitment Board (LAHD-SSRB) officially commenced a comprehensive three-day document verification process today, December 30, 2025, for candidates who successfully cleared the Matriculation (10th) and 12th-level recruitment examinations.

The high-stakes exercise is currently underway at Paras Hall, located within the Boys Higher Secondary School in Leh, serving as a critical final step in the region’s latest employment drive. To manage the high volume of candidates efficiently and maintain strict administrative standards, the recruitment board has established 20 dedicated verification desks, each staffed by a specialized officer and two expert document checkers.

This structured approach is designed to ensure that every credential is scrutinized with maximum accuracy while minimizing wait times for the prospective recruits.Under the direct supervision of Sh. Rehmatullah Butt, JKAS, Secretary of the LAHD-SSRB, the verification process is being executed with a focus on absolute transparency and adherence to established recruitment protocols. Candidates are undergoing a rigorous scrutiny of their original academic certificates, identity photographs, and other essential documentation as per the prescribed guidelines.

To facilitate a secure and orderly environment, the district employment office of Leh and personnel from the Ladakh Police are maintaining a constant presence on-site. This collaborative oversight ensures that the proceedings remain fair and that law and order are upheld throughout the venue.

The verification drive is scheduled to continue over the next two days, following the pre-announced timetable to finalize the eligibility of candidates for various government positions within the hill development framework.
