LEH, January 26, 2026 – Following the successful completion of the national day parades, Lok Niwas Ladakh hosted the customary “At Home” function to commemorate the 77th Republic Day of India.
The reception was presided over by Lieutenant Governor Kavinder Gupta, accompanied by Bindu Gupta. The event served as a high-level gathering to celebrate the nation’s constitutional values and foster a spirit of unity and harmony among the various pillars of the Union Territory’s administration and civil society.
The reception was attended by a distinguished assembly, including senior civil and police officials, representatives from the Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), and elected leaders.
During the proceedings, Kavinder Gupta engaged in personal interactions with the guests, which included representatives of religious institutions and prominent citizens. He extended his heartfelt Republic Day greetings and expressed his appreciation for the collective contributions made by those present toward public service and the ongoing process of nation-building in Ladakh.
The function concluded in a cordial atmosphere, reaffirming the administrative and social solidarity of the region.
