The event, graced by senior civil administration officials—including the District Commissioner of Kupwara, the SSP, and the DFO—served as a definitive testament to a community now resolute in charting its own destiny.
Central to the day’s activities was the launch of an ambitious plantation drive involving 300,000 trees, symbolizing a long-term commitment to environmental restoration and a sustainable future for the region.

Ten Pico machines were distributed to local Women Empowerment Centres to bolster the Flag Women of Kupwara (FLOWK) initiative, an inspiring program where local women manufacture National Flags, turning a symbol of pride into a source of sustainable livelihood.
