Srinagar 15th August :-The death toll in the catastrophic cloudburst in Kishtwar has increased to 65, with numerous people still missing, confirmed Minister Javed Dar on Friday. In a conversation with media in Baramulla, Dar said rescue workers have been working day and night since Thursday evening but but emphasized that the exact number of missing persons remains uncertain.
“Rescue operations are underway and we are making all efforts to find survivors,” Dar said. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is also set to visit the affected area later in the day to review the situation and monitor relief efforts.
