Junior Leaders Academy Hosts Cyber Psychology Workshop to Shield Techno Leaders from Modern Battlefield Risks
SHILLONG, INDIA — March 11, 2026: In a strategic move to fortify the mental and digital resilience of the Indian Army’s grassroots leadership, the Junior Leaders Academy hosted a specialized training capsule titled “Cyber Psychology in the Modern Battlefield for Techno Leaders.”
Conducted by Dr. Mahesh A. Tripathi from Rashtriya Raksha University, the session was specifically designed to sensitize Junior Leaders and Instructors to the psychological complexities of the digital age.
The curriculum focused on understanding online behavior, the nuances of digital identity, and the profound psychological impact of social media within the cyber domain. By analyzing how digital footprints can be tracked and manipulated, the workshop aimed to prepare leaders for a landscape where the mind is as much a target as the physical territory.
The expert-led interaction provided a deep dive into the sophisticated tactics used by global adversaries to exploit human vulnerabilities through social engineering, the spread of misinformation, and honey-trap schemes.
Dr. Tripathi highlighted how these psychological maneuvers pose significant risks to operational security and institutional integrity if left unaddressed. Consequently, the session reinforced the absolute necessity of maintaining strict digital discipline and heightened cyber awareness.
By the conclusion of the workshop, the Junior Leaders and Instructors were equipped with a renewed sense of vigilance, ensuring they remain resilient against cognitive warfare in an ever-evolving and increasingly transparent information battlefield.
