JKAP 8th Bn Organized Plantation Drive

Jammu 30 September :- To promote a clean, green and healthy environment in and around the campus, JKAP-8th Battalion, Miran Sahib, Jammu, organized a plantation drive under the overall supervision of Suram Singh, JKPS (SSP), Commandant, JKAP-8th Battalion.

During the drive, more than 400 saplings of different species were planted by the officers and jawans of the Battalion. On this occasion, the Commandant emphasized the vital importance of protecting the environment and ecosystem. He also stressed the need for conserving natural resources to ensure their availability for future generations.

He highlighted that maintaining a clean and green environment not only enhances the quality of life but also helps to prevent diseases and promotes the well-being of society.

The Battalion has already undertaken several initiatives to keep the campus neat, green and continued to remain committed to the cause of environmental conservation. At the conclusion of the event, all participants were encouraged to extend the plantation drive to their homes and communities by planting more trees, thereby contributing to safeguarding the environment for a sustainable future.
