J&K Police Hosts Free Medical Outreach Camp for Baramulla Residents Under Civic Action Programme

BARAMULLA, March 23, 2026 — As part of its ongoing commitment to community welfare and public health, the Jammu and Kashmir Police organized a comprehensive medical outreach camp today at Government Higher Secondary School Audoora, Sheeri.

Conducted under the Civic Action Programme (CAP), the initiative received an overwhelming response, with approximately 200 residents from diverse age groups visiting the site to access free healthcare services.

A dedicated team of experienced medical professionals provided thorough health check-ups and expert consultations, ensuring that essential medicines were distributed to those in need.

The primary objective of the camp was to bridge the gap in healthcare accessibility for local populations who often face challenges in reaching specialized medical facilities.

Beyond immediate treatment, the medical team placed a significant emphasis on preventive healthcare awareness, educating attendees on the benefits of maintaining a healthy lifestyle to ward off chronic ailments.

This outreach effort serves as a vital component of the J&K Police’s proactive community engagement strategy, aiming to foster deeper trust, goodwill, and a strengthened sense of security between the law enforcement agency and the public it serves.
