JAMMU, J&K — Feb 07, 2026 — Strengthening the bond between law enforcement and the local community, the Jammu and Kashmir Police organized a meaningful outreach event at Government Middle School, Darsopur, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Miran Sahib, to support the educational aspirations of underprivileged youth.
As part of the Civic Action Programme (CAP), high-ranking officials including SP Headquarters Jammu, Irshad H. Rather-JKPS, alongside SDPO R.S. Pura and SHO Miran Sahib, personally distributed essential school kits containing backpacks and stationery to needy students.
During a heartwarming interaction, the officers encouraged the children to prioritize their academic goals and engage in extracurricular activities, reaffirming the Police Department’s commitment to fostering a supportive environment for the region’s future generations.
