Srinagar 18th August:- The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has sent out an advisory ordering stern safety measures for schools following recent instances of cloudburst.
The Chief Education Officers and Heads of Institutions (HOIs) are ordered to implement increased vigilance, particularly in exposed regions near water bodies. Important measures are ongoing weather tracking, evacuation exercises, and liaison with disaster management officials. The advisory makes HOIs individually responsible for failures in implementation. The directive of 18th August 2025 is intended to protect students and employees from adverse weather.
