J&K Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary Pledges Transparent Governance and Rapid Development

JAMMU, April 8, 2026— Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to pro-people governance during an extensive interaction with public delegations in Jammu today.

Addressing representatives from various sectors, Choudhary emphasized that the current administration remains steadfast in providing responsive and transparent leadership across Jammu and Kashmir. He highlighted that the government is prioritizing a robust, inclusive, and time-bound development strategy designed to bridge regional gaps and improve the overall quality of life for every citizen.

During the session, delegations from numerous districts—including Jammu, Srinagar, Baramulla, Anantnag, Rajouri, Samba, and Ramban—presented a diverse range of local grievances and aspirations. The discussions primarily focused on critical infrastructure needs such as road development, the expansion of industrial hubs, and the creation of sustainable employment opportunities for the youth.

After listening to the specific challenges faced by the residents, the Deputy Chief Minister engaged directly with concerned officials to ensure prompt resolutions.
