JAMMU, February 13, 2026 – The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, currently in its Budget Session, paused its proceedings today to mourn the passing of veteran leader and former Minister Peerzada Ghulam Ahmad Shah.
Formally informing the House of the sad news, Chairman Mubarik Gul led the assembly in paying rich tributes to the departed legislator, highlighting his long-standing career and his significant contributions to the political and social fabric of the region.
