Jammu,19 August:- The Civil Society of Janipur today extended heartfelt gratitude to SHO Janipur Police Station, Vikram Sharma, and his dedicated team for their exemplary service to the community. The recognition comes in light of their swift and efficient resolution of a recent hit-and-run case involving a 75-year-old resident.
The case pertained to Sh. Bhushan Lal Mujoo (S/o Late Sh. Neel Kant Mujoo, R/o Sector 2, Pamposh Colony, Janipur), who was the victim of a hit-and-run incident involving a tempo bearing registration number JK02AJ6128. Demonstrating remarkable professionalism and commitment, SHO Vikram Sharma and his team successfully traced and apprehended the culprit within just 12 hours of the incident.Acknowledging this praiseworthy effort, members of the Civil Society in Janipur organized a felicitation event.
The programme was led by Raveesh Mengi (District General Secretary – BJP), along with Sahil Gupta (Mandal President), former councillors Sunita Gupta and Subash Sharma, social activist Parshotam Verma, and R.C. Bali (President, Janipur Market Association). Several other prominent social activists including Narayan Dass, Parveen Anand, Rakesh Gupta, Sameer Pathania, Kamal Kishore, Lalit Luthra, Pankaj Gupta, and Sanjeev Gupta were also present on the occasion.
The Civil Society expressed deep appreciation for the tireless and calm manner in which the SHO and his team carried out their duties. They noted that such actions strengthen public confidence in law enforcement agencies and ensure that justice is delivered promptly.
