Jammu, September 24, 2025:- The Technical Lab Team of SP Rural Office Jammu has successfully recovered 40 missing mobile phones valued at approximately Rs 7 lakhs. The missing reports of these devices had been lodged at various Police Stations and Police Posts across Rural Zone Jammu.
Acting on missing reports received through concerned SHOs/ICPPs, the Technical Lab Team led by Incharge ASI Daljeet Singh, under the close supervision of SP Rural Jammu, Brijesh Sharma-JKPS, traced the phones from different districts across the Union Territory of J&K.With this recovery, several pending missing reports have been closed. The recipients expressed their gratitude to Jammu Police for the dedicated efforts in retrieving their lost devices.It is pertinent to mention that the *Technical Lab Team had earlier recovered 150 missing mobile phones, bringing the total recovery to 190 mobile phones to date, with their estimated value exceeding Rs 30 lakhs.
