JAMMU, February 12, 2026 — The Jammu Traffic Police has issued a public notice detailing significant route diversions and restrictions ahead of the Maha Shivratri Shoba Yatra scheduled for February 14, 2026.
The procession is set to commence at 3:00 PM from the Ranbireshwar Temple, passing through major landmarks including Indira Chowk, Hari Market, Raghunath Bazar, and Parade Chowk before returning to the temple at Shalamar Road.
To manage the anticipated traffic pressure, restrictions will begin at 10:00 AM, with diversions in place at key intersections such as Library Chowk, Panjtirthi, and the Directorate of AYUSH. Commuters are advised to avoid the Yatra route and contact the Traffic Control Unit (TCU) Jammu for real-time assistance.
