Srinagar, April 9, 2026 — The Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police shared an update on X stating that as of 0800 hours, passenger traffic is plying from both directions, including travel from Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa, on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44).

Commuters are advised to follow strict lane discipline, as overtaking and wrong lane driving will cause congestion.
