Jammu 05 September :- The Directorate of School Education Jammu has issued a fresh order, announcing that all government and private schools will remain closed on Saturday, September 6, 2025. This order comes as a continuation of a previous directive. However, all teaching and non-teaching staff are instructed to resume their duties from Monday, September 8, 2025.

The order, signed by Director Dr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary, mandates that Heads of Institutions (HOIs) must conduct a comprehensive security and safety audit of their school buildings upon their return. Furthermore, the HOIs have been tasked with assessing their school’s readiness to resume physical classes and are authorized to make an appropriate decision on commencing offline classes from Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
The Chief Education Officers (CEOs) across the Jammu division have been directed to closely monitor the day-to-day activities and submit a detailed report to the Directorate to ensure all instructions are complied with in letter and spirit.
