Jammu, September 26, 2025:In a significant breakthrough, Jammu Police, South Zone has successfully solved a theft case reported from Sainik Colony and recovered stolen gold ornaments weighing 130 grams.
On 19-09-2025, a written complaint was lodged by Kheema Pandotra W/o Late Sh. Bimal Kumar R/o Sector-F, Sainik Colony, on the basis of which FIR No. 153/2025 U/S 306/317(2) BNS was registered at Police Station Channi Himmat. The investigation was entrusted to ASI Rajesh Singh of PP Sainik Colony.During the course of investigation, swift police action led to the arrest of two accused persons Sahil Kumar, S/o Girdhari Lal, R/o Check Haria Madh, Jammu and Rakesh Kumar, S/o Sham Lal, R/o Dablehar, R.S. Pura, Jammu.
Upon sustained interrogation, the accused persons disclosed their involvement, and on their instance, the stolen property was recovered from Muthoot Finance Fincorp Limited, Mannpuram Finance Limited, as well as from the shop belonging to accused No. 2.This recovery highlights the efficiency and dedication of Jammu Police in swiftly solving the case and restoring the stolen property to its rightful owner.
