Jammu Police Hold Community Outreach in Bathindi to Ensure Peaceful Ramadan Observance
JAMMU, Feb 21: In a proactive move to strengthen communal ties ahead of the holy month, the Jammu Police organized a comprehensive Police–Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Bathindi today.
Led by the SP City South Jammu, alongside the SDPO South and SHO Bahu Fort, the session served as a platform for direct dialogue between law enforcement and local stakeholders. A key highlight of the event was the formal introduction of the newly appointed Incharge of Police Post Bathindi, PSI Ajesh Jamwal, aimed at enhancing local accessibility and fostering a transparent communication channel between the residents and the police department.
The meeting, attended by prominent religious leaders and senior citizens, focused on meticulously planning for the spiritual and logistical requirements of Ramadan.
Detailed discussions were held regarding comprehensive security arrangements, efficient traffic regulation to manage peak prayer crowds, and facilitating safe movement during late-night Sehri and Taraweeh hours.
Officers emphasized a strategy of proactive patrolling and rapid response to public grievances to ensure a “spiritually enriching” and disruption-free month.
