Jammu Police Arrest Accused in Bishnah Minor Kidnapping and Sexual Assault Case
JAMMU, Feb 15, 2026 — In a swift and decisive crackdown on heinous crime, the Jammu Police have apprehended a 27-year-old man, identified as Arjun Lakhotra, in connection with the kidnapping and sexual assault of a minor girl in the Bishnah area.
Following a formal complaint lodged on February 14, 2024, authorities immediately registered a case under the stringent provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the POCSO Act.
