While the region is not expected to witness any major rain or snowfall during this window, minor localized disturbances are likely to bring intermittent cloud cover and light precipitation to specific high-altitude zones.According to the detailed forecast, weather conditions remained generally dry today, February 12. A brief change is expected tomorrow, February 13, with generally cloudy skies and the possibility of light snow at isolated higher reaches.
This pattern of dry weather will resume from February 14 to the evening of February 16, though another light spell of snow may occur in the mountains late on the night of the 16th. A slightly more active system is anticipated on February 17, bringing light rain or snow to scattered locations, followed by another dry stretch from February 18 to 21.In light of these conditions, the MET department has issued a safety advisory for residents and commuters.
