Jammu and Kashmir Government Activates 24/7 Helplines for Residents Returning from Iran
NEW DELHI, February 24, 2026 — In a proactive move to ensure the safety and smooth transition of its citizens, the Resident Commission of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has activated dedicated helpline numbers for Union Territory residents returning from Iran.
This decision follows a security advisory issued by the Embassy of India in Tehran on February 23, 2026. To provide round-the-clock assistance, the government has established the “Hello J&K” helpline at 7303620090, along with two additional control room lines at 011-24611108 and 011-24611210.
These 24×7 operational centers are designed to offer essential support and facilitate necessary coordination for travelers during their journey home.
