Udhampur 26 September :- Police team from Police Station Chenani led by its SHO while performing vehicle checking at Naka Point Motor shed stopped one scooty bearing registration number PB07CG-3971 for checking purposes.During the checking of said vehicle, 5.545 kgs of poppy straw was recovered from the possession of the driver namely Harpreet Singh S/O Sudarshan Singh R/O Mananhana, Hoshiarpur, Punjab has been arrested on spot.
On this, a case vide FIR No. 92/2025 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act stands registered in P/S Chenani and further investigation was set into probe..
