KOCHI, February 12, 2026 — Enhancing the logistical capabilities of the maritime forces, a sophisticated new ration distribution facility named ‘Sattva’ was formally inaugurated at the Base Victualling Yard in Kochi.
The ceremony was held in the presence of Vice Admiral Sameer Saxena, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (FOC-in-C) of the Southern Naval Command (SNC), marking a significant upgrade to the command’s administrative infrastructure.The ‘Sattva’ facility is designed to modernize the supply chain and victualling processes within the Southern Naval Command.
