Indian Army’s Trishakti Corps Organizes Medical and Dental Screening Camp for Border Area Students in North Bengal

BANARHAT April 4, 2026 — As part of its sustained community outreach and “Operation Sadbhavana” initiatives, the Trishakti Corps of the Indian Army successfully conducted a comprehensive medical and dental screening camp at Boroline Primary School in Gandhrapara, Banarhat.

Situated in the sensitive border regions of North Bengal, the camp aimed to provide essential healthcare services to underprivileged students who have limited access to specialized medical facilities.

During the drive, a total of 83 school children underwent detailed health check-ups, dental screenings, and received basic medical treatments tailored to their specific needs.

The military medical team not only provided expert consultations but also distributed essential medicines and hygiene kits to the students to promote long-term wellness.

Local residents and school authorities expressed their gratitude to the Trishakti Corps, noting that such initiatives significantly strengthen the bond between the “Army and the Awaam” (the people).

By focusing on the health of the younger generation in remote border belts, the Indian Army continues to play a pivotal role in regional development and social welfare alongside its primary role of national security.
