Indian Army’s Spear Corps Provides Frontline Operational Insights to IFS Officer Trainees

​LIKABALI, March 10, 2026 — In a significant move to bridge the gap between diplomacy and ground-level defense operations, the Spearhead Division under the Spear Corps recently facilitated an immersive field visit for a cohort of Indian Foreign Service (IFS) Officer Trainees.

The visit spanned across strategic forward posts in Likabali, Aalo, and Mechuka, providing the future diplomats with a rare opportunity to move beyond theoretical briefings and witness the complexities of border management firsthand.​

During the tour, the trainees engaged in extensive interactions with Indian Army troops stationed at these high-altitude frontier sectors.
