Indian Army Launches Massive Anti-Terror Operation in Rajouri to Secure National Highway 144A

RAJOURI 31 December :- In a major move to neutralize persistent threats in the Pir Panjal range, the Indian Army has launched a large-scale anti-terror operation targeting the dense Tulwala and Barnara forest areas of Sunderbani. This high-stakes mission was initiated following intelligence reports indicating the movement of terror groups attempting to establish hideouts in the rugged terrain of the Rajouri district.

Elite units, supported by specialized counter-insurgency forces, have cordoned off the vast forest belt to flush out hiding militants and dismantle any established logistical networks. The primary objective of this operation is to ensure the absolute safety of the strategically vital National Highway (NH) 144A, which serves as a critical link for both civilian and military transit.

Authorities have intensified patrolling and established multiple layers of security along the highway to prevent any attempts by terror elements to disrupt the flow of traffic or target commuters.
