Indian Army Honours Veterans in Naushera: Dhruva Motorcycle Rally Reaches Day 6 with Eternal Flame

NAUSHERA, January 10 2026: To commemorate Veterans’ Day, the Indian Army organized a series of high-profile events in Naushera, highlighted by the arrival and progression of the Dhruva Motorcycle Rally.

On its sixth day, the rally continued its mission of fostering national pride and unity, carrying the Eternal Mashal (Eternal Flame) to symbolize the everlasting glory of fallen heroes.

The flame, which arrived from Sundarbani, served as the centerpiece for a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the Naushera War Memorial, where senior military officers, civil dignitaries, and ex-servicemen gathered to pay homage to the bravehearts who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation.

Following the tributes, the Commander of the Naushera Brigade officially flagged off the next leg of the rally from the war memorial. The riders covered approximately 125 kilometers, traveling from Naushera to Mendhar, where they were met with enthusiastic support from local communities.

The event was designed not only to honor the selfless service of ex-servicemen but also to strengthen the “enduring connect” between the Armed Forces and the civilian population. The successful flagging-in at Mendhar marked another milestone in this purposeful journey, reaffirming the military’s commitment to preserving the timeless legacy of India’s soldiers while addressing the welfare of its veteran community.
