Indian Army eliminates one Terrorist in Joint Operation in Kulgam
Kulgam 08 September :- In a precise operation based on specific intelligence provided by the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP), a joint team comprising the Indian Army, J&K Police and CRPF launched a search operation in the Guddar forest area of Kulgam.
According to a post by the Chinar Corps on X, (Twitter), vigilant troops on the ground detected suspicious movement. Upon being challenged, the hidden terrorists opened fire on the security forces, triggering a fierce exchange of gunfire. The encounter resulted in the elimination of one terrorist.
However, a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) of the Indian Army sustained injuries during the firefight and has been evacuated for medical treatment. As of the latest reports, the operation in the area remains ongoing.
