Indian Army Busts Terror Module in Nowshera; Foreign Weapons Seized

NOWSHERA | February 19, 2026 — In a major breakthrough for internal security, the White Knight Corps of the Indian Army, in a joint operation with the Jammu & Kashmir Police and CIF Romeo, has successfully dismantled a high-profile terror module operating in the Jammu region.

Acting on specific and credible intelligence, security forces apprehended an individual identified as Sachin, alias Pamma, a resident of Nowshera. The arrest is the result of seamless coordination between elite intelligence agencies and ground troops, effectively thwarting a calculated attempt to destabilize the peaceful atmosphere of Jammu & Kashmir.

The operation led to the recovery of a significant cache of sophisticated, foreign-made weaponry. Among the seized items were a Turkish-made TISAS Zigana 9mm pistol, a Chinese-made Norinco TT-30 pistol, two extended 50-round Zigana magazines, two standard magazines, and 15 live rounds of 9mm ammunition.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that the accused was in direct contact with Pakistan-based terrorists and smugglers, acting as a key operative in a trans-border, inter-state weapons smuggling racket designed to fuel militancy in the region.
