Indian Army and CISF Partner to Strengthen Anti-Drone Security at Ranchi Airport
RANCHI, JHARKHAND – In a significant move to bolster national security and aviation safety, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel stationed at Ranchi Airport recently completed an intensive Drone Threat Identification and Response Training session.
The program was conducted in strategic collaboration with the Indian Army’s Drone Operations Specialist team at the 4th Rajputana Rifles Battalion in Ranchi. This joint initiative was designed to equip security forces with advanced tactical skills to identify, track, and neutralize unauthorized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that may pose a risk to critical infrastructure.
The training highlights the increasing importance of inter-agency cooperation in the face of modern, technology-driven security challenges. By leveraging the Indian Army’s specialized expertise, the CISF has reinforced its operational excellence and commitment to proactive surveillance.
