Indian Army Agniveers Undergo Specialized Scuba Diving Training in Lucknow to Boost Operational Readiness
LUCKNOW April 05,2026 :- In a significant move to diversify the tactical capabilities of India’s newest soldiers, the Scuba Diving Federation of India recently conducted an intensive Scuba Diving Demo and Training session for Agniveers at the Manoj Pandey Swimming Pool, 11 GRRC.
The program, themed around the mantra “Skills sharpened, Depths explored, Warriors ready,” was specifically designed to introduce young soldiers to the rigors of underwater operations.
By mastering essential breathing techniques, underwater navigation, and stringent safety protocols, the trainees significantly enhanced their physical endurance and mental composure.
Beyond basic technical skills, the initiative focused on building high-level adaptability and resilience in high-pressure environments.
This specialized training goes beyond conventional infantry drills, ensuring that Agniveers possess a versatile skill set characterized by discipline, focus, and precision.
By exposing these “young warriors” to the challenges of the underwater domain, the Indian Army continues to evolve its training modules, preparing its personnel to tackle diverse and unconventional operational challenges with unwavering confidence.
