Srinagar, 13 October :- Aimed at improving the welfare and working environment of police personnel of District Srinagar, the inauguration ceremony of General Mess was held in District Police Lines, Srinagar.
The renovated facility was inaugurated by V.K. Birdi (IPS), Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, in the presence of Rajiv Pandey (IPS), Deputy Inspector General of Police, Central Kashmir Range, and Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy (IPS), Senior Superintendent of Police, Srinagar.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several senior officers and officials of Srinagar Police. The renovation and establishment of the General Mess is part of ongoing efforts of Police to provide better amenities and promote a sense of unity and camaraderie among the police personnel.
Speaking on the occasion, IGP Kashmir appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of such facilities in boosting morale and overall efficiency of the force.
