IGP Jammu Conducts Annual Crime Review; Sets High Stakes for Final Quarter of FY 2025–26

JAMMU— Inspector General of Police Jammu, Bhim Sen Tuti, chaired a high-level Annual Crime Review meeting at the Zonal Police Headquarters to evaluate the progress of strategic goals and targets established for the 2025–26 financial year.

The session, attended by all Range DIGs and District SSsP, focused on assessing compliance across a broad spectrum of critical areas, including counter-terror operations, crime prevention, and the quality of criminal investigations.

During the proceedings, District SSsP delivered detailed presentations on their respective achievements and challenges, providing a transparent look at the operational efficiency and intelligence-led policing efforts across the Jammu Zone.

The review highlighted the performance of the first three quarters of the fiscal year, with Bhim Sen Tuti issuing clear directives to accelerate efforts in the final quarter to meet all pending targets.

Emphasizing the need for technology-driven policing and enhanced inter-district coordination, the IGP stressed that maintaining peace and stability requires a proactive approach to intelligence and professional investigation.

Beyond operational targets, the meeting also addressed internal management, discipline, and infrastructure maintenance, ensuring that police units are optimized for better public service delivery as the financial year draws to a close.
