Jammu, 22 August :- In a swift and efficient investigation, the Janipur Police have solved a hit-and-run case. The case, registered as FIR No. 135/2025 under relevant sections, involved a motorcycle being hit by an Innova vehicle.
The incident occurred when two individuals, Vipan Rathore and Neeje Sharma, were riding a motorcycle (JK08J1091). The Innova vehicle (JK02CB7172) hit the motorcycle, resulting in injuries to both riders, who sustained fractures in their legs.
They were immediately referred to the hospital for medical attention.Through diligent investigation, the Janipur Police were able to identify and seize the Innova vehicle involved in the incident. The case has been successfully solved, and further action is being taken as per the law.
The Janipur Police appreciate the cooperation of the public through their installed CCTVs and commend the efforts of the investigation team for their prompt and professional handling of the case.
Every resident and shopkeeper of Janipur area are requested to install CCTVs especially in their business establishments covering roads also which are very useful for their protection and apprehension of criminals after commission of crime.
