Rajasthan 13th August :-At least 11 people, including women and children, were killed and several others injured when a pick-up van collided with a container truck on the Dausa–Manoharpur Highway in Rajasthan early Wednesday. According to Dausa Superintendent of Police Sagar Rana, the victims were returning from offering prayers at the Khatu Shyam temple when the accident occurred. Some of the injured have been referred to Jaipur’s SMS Hospital for treatment.
Dausa Deputy SP Ravi Prakash Sharma confirmed that the death toll rose to 11 after one of the hospitalized victims succumbed to injuries. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief over the incident, extending condolences to the bereaved families and wishing a speedy recovery for the injured. He has also directed officials to coordinate with the Rajasthan government for necessary assistance, according to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
