Kathua, 14 October :- In compliance to the House Search Warrant issued by the Hon’ble District Magistrate, Kathua, a police team of Police Station GRP Kathua led by Inspector Ajay Engotra, SHO PS GRP Kathua, under the close supervision of Harmohinder Singh, SDPO Railways Vijaypur, conducted a house search of accused Mohd Yasir S/o Mohd Yusuf R/o Maggar Khad, Jagatpur, District Kathua.
The search operation was carried out in the presence of SDPO Railways Vijaypur, EMIC Kathua Manish Verma, PSI Mohd Yusuf (IC SHO PS Lakhanpur), officials from RPF Kathua, and other concerned officers.
During the house search, the following items were recovered:Heroin (Chitta-like substance) – 4 grams,White powder – 93 grams,Iron Khokri – 1,Iron Tokka – 1The search was conducted in connection with case FIR No. 09/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act of PS GRP Kathua, following all legal formalities and in the presence of independent witnesses.
Videography and photography of the entire operation were conducted on the spot.Further investigation of the case is in progress and more recoveries are expected. The whole operation Conducted under the overall supervision of Shailender Singh, JKPS, SSP Railways Jammu.
