GOC White Knight Corps Reviews Operational Readiness and Security Along Line of Control

JAMMU, Feb 20, 2026: In a high-level assessment of border security, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps visited the Balnoi Sector to personally evaluate the counter-infiltration posture and operational preparedness of the troops stationed along the Line of Control (LoC).

The visit underscores the Indian Army’s proactive approach to maintaining a robust defense mechanism against cross-border threats. During the inspection, the GOC engaged with the frontline personnel, emphasizing the need for unyielding vigilance and tactical excellence to ensure the sanctity of the borders.

Following the review at Balnoi, the GOC White Knight Corps, accompanied by the GOC of the Crossed Swords Division, proceeded to the forward areas of the Sunderbani Sector. This visit was specifically aimed at reviewing the prevailing security situation in the aftermath of a successfully foiled infiltration bid by the alert troops.

The leadership praised the resolute and steadfast nature of the soldiers, noting that their unmatched resolve serves as a formidable deterrent to any hostile activities.

The Indian Army reaffirmed its commitment to national security, stating that the troops along the LoC remain vigilant and prepared to tackle any challenges to regional peace.
