GOC Uttar Bharat Reviews Tripeaks Brigade: High-Altitude Operational Preparedness Evaluated in Himachal

HIMACHAL PRADESH, JANUARY 22, 2026: Strengthening the nation’s high-altitude defense posture, Lieutenant General DG Misra, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Uttar Bharat Area, conducted a comprehensive review of the Tripeaks Brigade’s operational preparedness today.

Amid the challenging and unforgiving terrain of the Himachal Himalayas, the GOC assessed the strategic readiness of the troops stationed at the frontlines. Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the soldiers, Lt Gen Misra lauded their unwavering grit and “lethal” efficiency, emphasizing that their presence ensures the sanctity of India’s northern borders.
