GMC Jammu Organizes Successful Blood Donation Camp at State Cancer Institute

JAMMU, March 07: A successful blood donation camp was organized at the State Cancer Institute, Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, following the directives of the Principal and Medical Superintendent.

Conducted under the expert supervision of Medical Superintendent Dr. Deepak Kumar, the initiative aimed to support patients in critical need of blood and foster a culture of voluntary donation within the community.

The event was held in close collaboration with the GMC Jammu Blood Bank and saw a robust turnout of volunteers from the Hindu Shiv Sena, who participated in large numbers to support the noble cause.

During the camp, medical professionals and volunteers emphasized that regular blood donation is a vital lifeline, particularly for patients undergoing intensive cancer treatments and other life-saving medical procedures.
