Global Military Cooperation: Indian Army’s Regimental Signaller Officers Course Culminates at MCTE Mhow

MHOW, February 25, 2026 — The prestigious Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE) in Mhow successfully concluded its Regimental Signaller Officers course on February 23, 2026, marking a significant milestone in international defense cooperation.

The intensive training program brought together a diverse cohort of officers from the Indian Army alongside representatives from seven friendly foreign nations, including Mauritius, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mongolia, Namibia, and Sri Lanka.

Designed to sharpen tactical and technical communication skills, the course focused on enhancing proficiency in battalion-level signaling, signal-oriented tactics, and the integration of niche technologies into modern battlefield scenarios.

Major General Gautam Mahajan, SM, DCCI, MCTE, delivered the closing address, emphasizing the critical role of secure and resilient communication networks in contemporary warfare. During the ceremony, the General felicitated top-performing student officers for their dedication and technical excellence.

Captain Jatin Garg was notably adjudged the ‘Best Student’ of the course for his outstanding performance across all training modules.

This successful graduation reaffirms India’s commitment to being a global training hub, fostering interoperability and strengthening diplomatic and military ties with partner nations through shared expertise in high-tech defense communication.
