General Anil Chauhan Launches Sanawar Military Heritage Coffee Table Book at Manekshaw Centre

New Delhi March 22, 2026: General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), officially launched a landmark coffee table book titled “The Lawrence School Sanawar – Military Heritage (1847–2025)” during a prestigious ceremony held at the Manekshaw Centre.

This comprehensive publication serves as a massive repository of the institution’s storied history, spanning 450 printed pages and an additional 194 digital pages dedicated to military heritage and leadership excellence.

Highlighting the school’s 178-year legacy, the book documents the profound contributions of its alumni to the armed forces, offering a rich narrative of bravery and discipline.

The event was more than a book launch; it served as a high-level forum for engaging interactions between the CDS and distinguished Sanawarian alumni who have reached the upper echelons of military and civil service.
