Ganderbal Police observes Gandhi Jayanti, Pays tribute to Mahatama Gandhi

Ganderbal, 02 October :- On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Ganderbal Police organized a solemn function at District Police Lines (DPL) Ganderbal to pay homage to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.

SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal,Senior officers and police personnel participated in the ceremony and offered Shraddhanjali to Mahatma Gandhi by garlanding his portrait and observing a moment of silence in his memory.

Speaking on the occasion, Poswal highlighted the invaluable contributions of Mahatma Gandhi towards India’s freedom struggle and his philosophy of truth, non-violence, and communal harmony. He urged the gathering to imbibe Gandhiji’s teachings in day-to-day life for building a just and peaceful society.

The event concluded with a pledge by officers and jawans of Ganderbal Police to uphold the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and to continue working with dedication for peace, unity, and public welfare.
