GANDERBAL, J&K | JANUARY 24, 2026 – In a vibrant display of patriotic fervor, a full dress rehearsal for the upcoming Republic Day-2026 celebrations was successfully conducted at the Madr-e-Meharbaan Qamariya Stadium in Ganderbal today.
The event was presided over by ADDC Ganderbal, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, who unfurled the National Flag and inspected the diverse parade contingents alongside Addl. SP Ganderbal, Owaise Loun. Led by DySP Rakesh Singh, the march-past featured an impressive lineup including the District Police Ganderbal, JKAP 14th Battalion, PTS Manigam, and multiple battalions from the CRPF and SSB, as well as the Forest Protection Force, Home Guards, and students from the JK Sainik School Manasbal.
The rehearsal was further enriched by spirited cultural performances from local students and youth clubs, showcasing the region’s cultural heritage and unity. A large audience of local residents attended the event, applauding the disciplined coordination and high-energy preparations ahead of the national holiday.
