Football tournament organised by District police Ramban concludes,FB Sports Banihal Emerges Champion in the finals

Ramban, 17 December :- The Football Tournament organized by District Police Ramban concluded today at the District Police Lines (DPL), Ramban, with an exciting final match. Team FB Sports Banihal emerged as the champion of the tournament after a spirited and commendable performance.

The final match was graced by SSP Traffic NHW, Adil Hamid, JKPS, as the Chief Guest. The event was also attended by SSP Ramban Arun Gupta, JKPS, DySP (Ops) Ramban Manisha Kumari, Account Officer Ankit kumar and other senior officers/Officials of District Police Ramban.

The tournament was organized under the overall supervision of SSP Ramban Arun Gupta, JKPS, and was coordinated by Mujeeb ur Rehman AddlSp Rbn,DySP Kuldeep Kumar (DAR Ramban) along with RI DPL Inspector Sanjay Manhas.

Staff from the District Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) department provided necessary assistance in ensuring the smooth conduct of the tournament.Both finalist teams were felicitated with trophies, cash prizes, and refreshment in appreciation of their excellent performance and exemplary sportsmanship.

While addressing the gathering, the dignitaries highlighted the importance of sports in shaping the character and discipline of youth. They emphasized that such sporting initiatives help channelize youthful energy in a positive direction and play a crucial role in keeping young people away from drug abuse and other social evils.

District Police Ramban continues to promote youth engagement through sports by encouraging healthy recreational activities, discouraging drug abuse, and strengthening positive community interaction.
