FLY91 Expands Fleet with Arrival of Sixth ATR 72-600 Aircraft in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD | March 16, 2026 — Regional airline FLY91 reached a significant milestone in its expansion strategy early this morning with the successful induction of its sixth aircraft, a brand-new ATR 72-600.

The aircraft completed an extensive ferry flight from the ATR factory in Toulouse, France, making strategic refueling stops in Alexandria and Muscat before touching down at its base in Hyderabad at 1:13 a.m. This latest addition, facilitated through a partnership with Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), marks a critical step forward in the airline’s mission to enhance regional connectivity under the “Bharat Unbound” initiative.

The arrival of the new turboprop underscores the airline’s commitment to bridging the gap between India’s tier-2 and tier-3 cities. FLY91 leadership extended their gratitude to the Dubai Aerospace Enterprise team for their continued trust and praised the ferry flight crew for navigating challenging geographies to deliver the aircraft safely.

With the sixth “bird” now on the ground, the airline’s technical and operations teams are working tirelessly to complete the necessary integrations, preparing the aircraft to enter commercial service and further connect underserved communities across the country.
