The training at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology provided the participants with hands-on experience in modern agricultural practices that ensure sustainable income throughout the year.

During the flag-off ceremony at the DC Office Complex, which was attended by the Chief Agriculture Officer and senior technical staff from DCTS Rakh Dahisar, DDC Ayushi Sudan urged the women to act as brand ambassadors for modern farming in their respective villages.

She emphasized that adopting these “best practices” is essential for achieving economic independence and ensuring that the HADP’s goals of doubling farmer income are met through high-value crop diversification.
